2007 Mercedes-Benz CL The new CL-Class is another Mercedes-Benz masterpiece. Just as the luxury coupé points the way to the future with its innovative technology, the design has also set the mould for a new Mercedes style. Its hallmark is the interaction between distinctive tightly drawn lines with large, unruffled surfaces. Compared with the outgoing model, the new Mercedes-Benz top-of-the-range coupé has grown slightly in every dimension. 5065 millimetres long, 1871 millimetres wide and 1418 millimetres high, the body is 75 millimetres longer, 14 millimetres wider and 20 millimetres higher than before, providing even more comfort and space on all four seats.

CL Specification

Mercedes-Benz CL-class The base CL500 draws on a 302-hp, 5.0L V-8 engine and can sprint to 60 miles per hour in just a tick over six seconds, yet it still qualifies as an ultra-low emission vehicle. The CL600 produces 493 hp from its twin-turbocharged, 6.0L V-12 engine, and also features Nappa leather seating and an Alcantara headliner. To help keep all that power under control, all CL-Class vehicles are equipped with ABC, Mercedes? active body control suspension technology, which is designed to balance ride quality and handling performance. All CL-Class vehicles also get the full and extensive lineup of safety equipment, from huge disc brakes and side-curtain airbags to a host of electronic safety systems designed to keep the vehicle on its intended path.
